Sphinx #1

From NYC sketchbooks, November 2025. Roaming the Met, I can’t help but become intoxicated by all the sphinxes creeping on the furniture, lurking in the earthenware, coiling and statuesque in polished stone. My camera roll becomes a feverish cluttered hoard of these creatures as I race through, indiscriminately scanning and snapping shitty pictures.
